Does SDL_Net support any sort of ICMP (like ping)? I didn’t see anything
in the source code or documentation to support it. It is something that’s
useful for my application…

It does not.
There was some discussion about it few months ago, but we couldn’t find
a portable way to do it on all plaforms. Or at least, there wasn’t
enought interest to put the effort in it.–
