SDL on Borland C++ IDE

Hello All,
I am new to SDL and desperately trying to run SDL on borland C++ 5.0 IDE, but cant figure out how to successfuly do that. All the directions given to run SDL on borland c++ seems to be for the normal command line compilers and not for the IDE. Can anybody plz tell me to how to successfully run SDL with borland c++ IDE? Also what is this SDL_main.c and SDL_main.lib file and where do i get it? I have used implib on sdl.dll and got the sdl.lib file and i have put it in the BC5/include/lib folder. Now I am stuck as what to do? Plz, can anybody help me out? Thanks a million in advance.

Kindest Regards:

Hi Prathmesh,
The latest release of SDL contains several Borland .MAK files and the
necessary Borland compatible .lib files which you should be able to use
in the 5.0 IDE. Look for the Borland.zip file in the SDL release.

I hope this helps.

I’m not sure if you recall but remember I emailed you about this problem
with getting Borland 5.02 to work with SDL? The problem with the current
make file is, I think, that it’s created with Borland C++Builder 6 so
it’s unlikely that 5.02 will recognize the files.

You mention that it might be possible to convert it into a format 5.02
will recognize. Perhaps revising and appending a walkthrough or a
tutorial to the current existing documentation is a good idea I think.
