SDL+OpenGL+Solaris = blank window


i have compiled the sdl+opengl example from teh documentation
( on solaris9. there are no
compilation eerors and no errors during program run, but i can see nothing
except a blank window, no matter if i select SDL_FULSCREEN or not.

on linux this program works fine.
on this solaris 2d sdl programs run fine, also opengl+glut works fine.
what can be wrong?
