SDL Wiki Hacked?

Was just looking for some info about the SDL keysym defines that it uses, but when I found what I believe to be the appropriate page, it appears to instead be full of spam links (http://www.libsdl.org/cgi/docwiki.cgi/SDLKey).

Any chance of getting this looked at?

I’ve already requested this, and I was told to get my references from the
new Wiki for SDL 1.3
I believe there is a plan to also host SDL 1.2 documents on the new wiki,
but I haven’t had that confirmed by Sam

Take care,
-Alex

PS:
For the time being, you’ll just have to peek through the SDL header files. On Wed, Aug 25, 2010 at 10:03 AM, thatbloke <mark.p.tucker at hotmail.co.uk>wrote:

Going back to an older (Correct) version will help… but if you look at
the action history, that spammer has had free reign for quite some time. =(

Yes, I remembered that this has happened, and been commented on here
on this list, several times. My understanding is, those who can/do
maintain the wiki don’t have enough free time to keep undoing all
these spam edits, and that the 1.3 wiki should be pretty much immune
to them and will contain a 1.2 section, we just need to wait for it
(for which, I believe, there is no set deadline). The best
alternatives are to either find another web page with the info you
need (in this case the key definitions), or look at the source itself.

I wish I had the time myself to build an alternate wiki for SDL,
because I use it quite a bit for work and personal projects.
Unfortunately, right now I don’t. Without someone in the community to
step up and get it done, we’re at the mercy of the maintainers’
schedules. On Thu, Aug 26, 2010 at 9:52 PM, The Novice Coder wrote:

Very true. =( And unfortunately, if you look at the log… the
spammers post their spam as frequently as every 30 to 60 minutes or
so… In my opinion, this goes beyond the ability of human maintainers
to keep under control and needs some kind of software method to keep…

The bad news there is that if I remember from an earlier post, one of
the big problems is the people who have access to make such an update
aren’t around to do so …

In the meantime, I just do what I can posting a link to a valid version
of the page. =)

The old wiki is officially deprecated and can’t be edited by spammers.
The new wiki is available here:

The page you want is:

See ya!On Thu, Aug 26, 2010 at 7:32 PM, The Novice Coder wrote:
