"slouken" (silly bit of curiosity)

I always wondered where the “slouken” in the devolution.com main SDL
site comes from. It’s prefixed by a tilde so it’s a user name, but why
slouken? I can’t see how the name “Sam Lantiga” can be twisted into
it… But then again I’m hard pressed to explain why "Rafael R. Sevilla"
suddenly becomes “dido” to my friends…–

Heheh. It’s a bit of historical trivia.
“Slo’ken” was my dragon-rider nick on DragonsMUSE many years ago.
Quorenth was my dragon.
