The usual LGPL stuff applies, of course, but you basically play MP3s at
your own risk. If you are concerned, use Ogg Vorbis instead (SDL_sound and
SDL_mixer both support Ogg playback).
It is also my understanding that you are free to decode MPEG-1 video (the
patent owners only want to talk to you if you write an encoder), but I may
be mistaken.
