Sound callback parameters?

Hi there…

Umm, with the SDL sound callback function definition, what actually
are all the parameters? This isn’t covered in the documentation at
all. What are the ‘stream’, ‘len’ and ‘lookahead’ parameters?

BTW, what’s happening with the GGI linux back end?

TIA,
Peter

Oops, minor details.

‘stream’ is a pointer to the current audio buffer
’len’ is the length, in bytes, of that buffer
’lookahead’ is a pointer to the “next” audio buffer, of the same length,
which can be used to premix the next audio chunk. I currently don’t use
it in any example code.

I’m looking at the GGI degas prerelease right now.
If it has enough features, I’ll finish up the GGI back end.

See ya!
