SuSE 8.0,7.3 OpenGL+SDL bug?

Hi;

I was coding an OpenGL app using SDL. Well, my app compiles fine, and runs ok
on Win32 and Debian, but using SuSE 7.3 and 8.0, it gives me a fuck#@n
‘segmentation fault’. I thought the app was buggy, but today I’ve downloaded
the SDL_gears demo and I’ve got a fuzzy weird screen instead those gears.
That also happens in my app when I disable texturing.

So, on Debian and Win32 go nice, but on SuSE is a total weird. Anybody has any
clue? Is that a SuSE-SDL bug? Are the Nvidia drivers a bullshit? (I’m using
latest drivers both on Debian & SuSE).

Thankx 4 all!

You should at_least write what gfx card you have… (and better -> how you
configured OpenGL).On Fri, May 03, 2002 at 12:28:53PM +0200, Augusto Beiro wrote:

Graphic card is a Vanta 8MB. SDL version SDL-1.2.3 (binary package by SuSE)
Well OpenGL drivers are the nVidia ones.

Piece of cake (XFree conf file):

Section "Module"
Load "dbe"
Load "type1"
Load "speedo"
Load "extmod"
Load "freetype"
Load "glx"
EndSection

Any clue? (Quake3 works perfectly)
