I’m having a problem running the SDL example programs - they all seem to just
lock up…
I understood that there was a problem with pthreads and clipping in 1.1.5, so I
got the
latest CVS version (today) and had the same problem. I have the strace output
but didn’t
want to post it to the list…
Do I need a special version of X to use SDL?

I thought I was doing something wrong too!!! I am a complete newbie to Linux
and also have 1.1.5 running under SuSe 7 and having the exact same problems!
hopefully the info in these replies will help me too! :o)
It’s a kinda nice feeling to know im not alone in trying to figure it out!
