Hello; a tall order maybe, and a little off-topic, but I’m looking to see
whether anyone knows of a network library that can be used in all four
environments? Or at least a solution that involves only a small amount of
tweaking for each platform? SDL_Net has an “in progress” port to MacOS, but
is that Classic or X, and does anyone know how far it’s got? Any advice
appreciated…

The MacOS X code uses sockets, so it’s fine. The MacOS classic code uses
Open Transport, and as far as I know it also works fine, though I’ve tested
it less than the rest of the socket code.

Ah, that bit works does it? Okay, sorry, the docs imply it was
work-in-progress. Until I get hold of a suitable Mac I can’t really try it,
but that shouldn’t be too long.
