Using SDL/DGA

Gosh, this may really sound like such a stupid thing, but the fact is
I’ve never been able to use SDL in full screen mode with XFree86/DGA.
How do you do that?–

How do you do that?

Run with effectively root privileges[1] with your SDL_InitVideoMode
passing SDL_FULLSCREEN in with flags.

[1] euid == 0, or read/write on /dev/kmem, I believe.
