Where is I386-mingw32mvc.tar.gz

I downloaded SDL-devel-1.2.8-mingw32.tar.gz, and untarred it, but could not find the i386-ming32mvc.tar.gz

The only file extracted that begins with “i386” is “i386-mingw32mvc-sdl-config” found in the bin directory.

Does the Windows documentation need updating?

… I’m sure you recognize the typos in the original note where “mingw32mvs” should be “mingw32msvc” …
Never-the-less, whatever spelling … “it ain’t there”

Does the Windows documentation need updating?

If you look at the INSTALL file, you’ll see that I’ve switched to a 'make’
solution for installation. The native target installs to /usr and the cross
target installs to /usr/local/cross-tools/somethingorother
