Which commercial games uses SDL

I don’t have a list of games, but you can check to see if any given game you
have dynamically links to sdl by looking to see if it depends and the sdl
library. You can check any executable in linux using ldd or windows using
depends.exe.

For example, I know ut2003 uses sdl in linux by the output of ldd ut2003.

Hope that helps

It was never released, I know some one who worked on the port, and it
was close, but Loki closed not long before it could be finished. It
probably had another month or so before being complete at the most. It
was never released because of Loki’s closing…On Fri, 2003-02-14 at 16:47, Dominique Louis wrote:

In John Hall’s book, Programming Linux games, he mentioned that Dues Ex
had been ported. I could not find it on the libsdl.org site. Was it
ported and released? Does anyone know what other games did not make it
when Loki closed down?

Thanks,

Secondly, yes, I saw that link and I looked at listings for about 50
games. Without knowing the names of the production companies it is not
simple to tell which ones are actually commercial games and which ones
are not. The information is important for establishing credibility for
SDL as a serious commercial platform and not just a hobbyist toy. I know
it is a serious commercial platform, but you would be surprised at how
many people assume that since it is free it “just a toy”.

Thank you, this is a valuable resource. Is there anyway to tell which of
these games are based on SDL?
