Win98, OpenGL and Multi-Monitor support

Hello,

I have a report from a user that he doesn’t get OpenGL hardware
acceleration on his system:

Win98
primary video adapter: Geforce 4 MX
secondary video adapter: Riva TNT

unless he disables the second head. Can someone verify this? Is there
anything we can do about it?

I’d ask Nvidia this question…as I’m sure you thought of doing too.
perhaps their drivers don’t work when you mix an old and a new card in one system.
they might even scoff at that on win98, since they are more interested in XP working probably.

Hi there.

I am afraid about being stupid, but, usually two cards work better when they are equals.
Is the problem only with SDL-based app? Only on Windows ?

Hope I helped.
