Window size wrong on some machines

Hello,
I create a 640x480 SDL window, pass it into DirectX to create a device
context and everything works fine.

But on one particular machine, DirectX says “Trying to create 88x0 window,
internal driver error” and chokes. This machine on the surface has
everything identical, DirectX 9.0c, WinXP, using the same DLLs, etc.

Anybody has any ideas/clues ?

cheers,
Murat

Does this system run WindowBlinds or something like it?

Thanks ! That was it, the client had some AlienWare-specific windows
customization tool running, turning it off fixed the problem.
Thanks for the help,
